Responsibilities: • Guide, coach and motivate the team with the goal of increasing productivity • Mentor the team on Agile best practices • Passionate about Scrum, Lean/Iterative Development and Test Driven Development and Test Automation • Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration • Contribute to the design of test automation strategy for all aspects of testing within the program • Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers. • Understand the testing effort by analyzing the requirements of project. • Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing • Ensure that test environments remain \"Fit for purpose\" for the program of project deliverables. • Act as a single point of contact for testing issues and topics for the IT Lead. • Maintain strong relationship with the development team to ensure clear communication across testing and development teams • Mentoring and training of internal testing resources. • Organizing testing strategy & phases of different projects in conjunction with the program management • Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan. • Work across multiple cross-functional teams to execute full system, interface, and end-to-end testing. • Manage defect-tracking process. • Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained. • Check / Review the Test Cases documents. • Keep track of the new requirements / change in requirements of the Project. • Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc. • Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project. NTAC:3NS-20 • Oversee and manage scope, release process, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals • Monitor release schedule and risks and escalate to key stakeholders to minimize delays in product releases • Define, develop, and measure key KPIs that provide visibility to stakeholders on the progress • Need to interface and communicate with Product owners, scrum masters, Quality Assurance, Project Managers, Operations, Business and technical leads on a daily basis. • Lead release planning and own the release activities across portfolio. • Conduct release scrum with product owners, scrum masters. • Help build and manage the Program backlog and agile release train. • Understands CI/CD, works with DevOps to streamline the delivery pipelines. • Contribute ideas and takes the ownership to improve the release activity. • Build processes, methods, tools, and reports that enable and empower Product Owners and stakeholders to make a GO/NO-GO decisions on their own. • Consult Product Owners on solutions, encouraging higher self-enablement options • Measure and monitor progress to ensure tech stack releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations. • Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations. • Own the process and conduct Release Readiness reviews for lower and upper environments. • Communicate release details and schedules to the stakeholders as required. • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities. • Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists Experience & Qualifications: • MUST HAVE Familiarity or experience working in an Agile environment • Experience with release management processes, and DevOps practices including environment management • BS Degree in engineering, science, mathematics, information systems or computer science; or the equivalent in experience • 5+ years of hands on experience in information systems operations environment in release management • 2+ years of previous release and/or test management experience • 2+ years of experience playing the Scrum Master role • Experience in automation testing framework preferred • Experience in financial services preferred
